I am a pole, that much is clear to me, but just what type of pole could I possibly be?

Holy crap!
I have been in Portland for a year now! Actually a year and five days if you’re counting. It went by kinda fast. I also turned 30, so that’s another “Holy crap!” Anyway…
A lot of people didn’t think I would stay long, that I would come back home for whatever reason. Even though I somewhat blindly chose Portland, I like it here and I don’t think I wanna leave for a long time. A long time ago I did one of those stupid surveys where you answer a bunch of random questions and it tells you what city you belong in, and I got Seattle. I know Portland isn’t Seattle, but it’s pretty damn close, and they are kinda similar in some ways. So I think I did the right thing. I do miss family, but I don’t really miss CT or RI, just some of the people and places.
The one thing I need to do more of here is see shows though, that’s one of the things that drew me here. So hopefully this year there will be more. :)
